I'm giving this show two more full seasons before the decline in rating begin, and the cancellation rumors start.

I've been onboard since episode 1. But there just doesn't seem to be much substance to the show. It's all fluff and jumbled storylines. I don't see much direction in the writing.

With the exception of both Henson and Howard, the acting is pretty bad.

Basically, I'm saying the show has become too over the top.

This is just my opinion. And I'll stick with it as long as I can. I'd like to see it succeed. But improvements have to be made.

I feel the same way.

I noticed the decline in the quality with the second season premiere. Too many guest stars. I really dislike when a show gets popular and the showrunners don't know how to handle it and stick to what made them good in the first place.

Well, I personally think it's so far better than S2. Even though I'm not on the "hate Empire/team power" train. I get why people wasn't fond of the second season and people being skeptical. Therefore it's still has the highest rating on cable so I'm sure it'll be on for a while but it's been two episodes so we'll see how it is.

I wasn't referring to a decline in quality. That's been evident since the beginning of season 2.

It's the decline in ratings that will be its downfall. FOX has a short leash for its primetime shows.

this is what happens to most shows. The shows that stay at the same level or get even better are few and far between. But for most hit shows, something else eventually comes along that grabs the viewer's attention.
