I am SO upset that they killed off Rhonda! Out of ALL people! It should have been Anika.

Andre & Rhonda will forever be my favorite couple. SO sad that the relationship ended and by means of death.

I am REALLY going to miss Rhonda. And seeing her with Andre.

I'm hoping it'll be some sort of fake out and she'll just be in a coma.

Yeah, I know it's not likely... but her falling on that car reminded me of Lydia on Revenge. I figured she'd be the one to fall anyway. Ugh.

@par: Regarding your first sentence, that would be wishful thinking. How I and other Rhonda fans wish that were the case.

@it's possible (but I don't think Empire's writers are this crafty) they have season 3 be entire demon filled dream of Andre, he'll wake up and the story will be wear they left off in season 2 when Rhonda walked out on him.

But yes, I agree dumb move to kill off Rhonda. I personally thought neither should have died, it's way too early to kill off main cast.
Empire hasn't solidified it's audience yet and they start axing people right now their ratings are going to plummet.

I also think Season 2 Camille and her lover were killed off too damn quickly.

Empire went from Camille and Hakeem's hands back to Lucious too quick.

Also why did they drop Raven Symone's character with Jamal.

Season 3 feels like a disaster.

and the whole world has to answer right now just to tell you once again. Who's Bad?

Good idea! Maybe at the end of the season it will be revealed that she really is in a coma or rehab home and Andre just can't deal with it. He's already seeing visions of her

As hard as it is, Anika simply provides better drama at this point than Rhonda...it seems like Rhonda's character ran its course. The actress Kaitlin Doubleday is already off to new opportunities, appearing in a horror web series, last I saw.

@la: I see your point. But Anika has caused enough issues as is. Rhonda was a nice wife addition for Andre. And that's what I liked seeing. Not to mention an interracial couple.

Maybe she'll stay on as Andre's conscience. Always appearing only to him and subconsciously telling him what to do, how to take his meds and revenge of course.

It was also disrespectful to the character, the actress and her fans not to have a funeral. I'm pissed!

You should be upset that nobody cares. She didn't even get a funeral.

Season 3's theme seems to be black lives matter...white lives, not so much. They're not even worthy of a funeral.
