What happened to Cookie's wardrobe?

I just saw ep.1 season 3 last night and I noticed they toned down Cookie's wardrobe, make-up and hair. Does anybody know why?

It needed to be. She looks like a damn fool at least once in every episode.

Agreed. Her outfits are much better this season....so far. It ain't over yet!

I think Timbaland wife is no longer working for Empire anymore. She use to be the brains behind the fashion. I know Timbaland isn't there so maybe she isn't either.

I think her clothes look much better. They had her looking like a cartoon before.

A number of the outfits she was trying on last episode were beyond ridiculous

I still think her clothes are ugly! I thought it was worse this season! Go figure!

Same here I can't stand how she is dressing it seem like it has gotten worse. That outfit she wore to that Opera with Taye Diggs character, she looked ratchet looking. I love the way Anika is dressed the clothes she wear would be appropriate for Opera and charity balls, and etc.
