Lucious was born by a black woman, raised by one, married one whom he had kids with and who made him a star and eventually took the fall for him to spend time in jail so he could become mega-star.
He's a jerk because of who he is, but he does know when to appreciate a black woman judging by the fact that he can't seem to let go of Cookie.

I love how appreciative he is by black women with his words because black women don't get that kinda appreciation rather its words or action by black men in these days but I just had to point out how he doesnt put it to action.
