I'm pretty sure that's actor business. Taraji hits everyone hard when she does, and it's kind of a gimmick that she slaps Hakeem in every scene where he gives her any attitude. You knew it was coming, and in the shot right before, when it was still on his back, she went in for it. He flinched and tried to pull away from it, so she hit him again much harder than she probably planned...lol.

That's how black mamas are...they're a little physical. I know my mom punched until I was 17 or 18 but it was with love.

Hakeem is disrespectful they need to hire a person to kick his ass at least once a day. Everybody in the family has had to beat his ass.

I personally don't think Hakeem gets smacked enough. He is childish, rude, disrespectful and irresponsible.
He has a child that he doesn't even know how to care for that's being taken care of by his own father. He is rude to his mother, Hakeem and Andre and seem entitled to own every girl that he likes. He is still hooked on Tiana, but wants Nessa and is fighting his brother over Nessa and the other dude over Tiana. Crazy.

He can't keep his apartment clean and feels entitled to everything. Dude needs to be slapped around the head all the time.

I hope Cookie gets to smack him on every remaining episode this season because he deserves it.

Hakeem: "Why does she (his baby Bella) sleep so much?"

Lucious: "Because that's what babies do. They sleep."

👆 He's a spoiled little brat, if anything Cookie should beat him even more, he thinks everything is his, he fights with his brothers for nothing, brutally dissed Jamal live, got pissed with Andre cause Nessa preferred him, he deserves worst.
