Can't wait. I hope we will have a 2 hour winter finale to make up for lost time. I mean this show was off for 3 weeks and now it's off again for another 2 weeks. There's got to be an extra episode that needs to fit in before the winter break..LOL!!!
haha... I wish there was an extra episode in there somewhere, but it's not! ;(. The show will be back on March 22 to finish up season.

Are you serious? Why such a long break? Did they cut back on the number of episodes? I don't know if it helps the show with them taking such breaks during the season.

They are on the same schedule as last year. They left like Dec 10 and returned March 30 for the final 8 episodes of season 2. This time they are splitting the up in half 9/9 Total of 18. ( Same as before) In the meantime we will have STAR and the new Sanaa Lathan Drama 'Shots Fired' to occupy the Wednesday time slot.
shareoooooh i can't wait for empire to return, i do have a question about "shots fired" someone on the board for shots fired said it doesn't start until march of 2017 so is that right? if so, i guess it won't even start until around the time empire returns
