I don't like his relationship with Cookie. I think this last episode was suppose to make the audience want Cookie with him more but didn't work for me. I still don't like him.

Good question. I think I feel this way because nothing really lasts long on Empire. Storylines go by so quickly, characters leave and we never hear about them again. I just don't see Cookie as the lady of a successful politician for the rest of the show's run.
Furthermore, I don't see Luscious letting it ride for the entirety of the show's run either. I don't get the sense that Taye Diggs is a permanent cast member that we'll be learning a whole lot more about. He's just fulfilling a good guy fantasy for Cookie based on her past. It's a repeat of Hakeem and the sweet latina. Here for a season, gone the next. Just my take on the whole thing.
Angelo and Cookie don't really have the kind of spark that I would have liked to see but I would like to see Angelo stay and show Cookie what it feels like to be treated well, and uplifted.
Cookie has sacrificed a lot to be with Lucious and all she has had in return is a hard-life of crime and punishment and constant sacrifice for Lucious and her kids.
It's about time someone really loves and treats Cookie well and that's where Angelo comes in.
Lucious needs to take a step back and realize how badly things have gone for Cookie ever since she met him.
Jamal's emotional song was touching and it hit Lucious smack in the face and forced him to leave the Cookie's house. I hope that song was the beginning of Lucious realizing how much Cookie had sacrificed and is still sacrificing for him and their family.
I want Angelo to stay with Cookie and even marry her. Lucious needs to go jump in a lake somewhere and cry some more.

It seems like Cookie is only with him because she is 1) hurt and trying to get over Lucious and 2) making up for supposedly choosing the wrong type of guy when she chose Lucious when she was young.
Maybe I just want Cookie and Lucious back together.
I feel like instead of Angelo, the writers could have come up with something better. Maybe a struggle of Lucious and Cookie trying to be together despite the legal situation going on. Maybe shown them sneaking around,getting caught, therefore proving the marriage to Anika fake and costing them everything. Or really anything else other than this boring ass relationship they’ve come up with.

I hate to bring race in it but taye diggs only dated and married white women in reallife and u can tell in that scene they had when he was kissing cookie, its like he has never kissed a sistah before and didnt really want to, awkward.
