No, that would be Hakeem.
When the hacker attacked Empire Jamal was affected while Hakeem wasn't even involved. It's like he's Bubble Boy and lives in his own isolated little bubble away from the main action.
Agreed, dudes the worst and all his scenes get skipped.
shareI actually find the Jamal character much more interesting this season than in S2.
I know some find is drug problems and PTSD issues a bit depressing but that is what is really interesting to me.
Jamal has a better quality storyline this season than in S2 where all he did was sing, sing, sing with little or no story to add to that. I really got tired from the "Jamal Over Singing Syndrome" in S2.....LOL. The Jamal this season has been very well written. His PTSD and drug issues has added some real depth to his character which I find deeply touching.
I prefer the Jamal character to Hakeem this season by a long shot. Besides, Jamal has sang some really good songs, actually one of the best songs of the show this season so I don't understand how some can find his character useless.
