I love that he doesnt try to be a goody toe shoes like Jamal or punkass like hakeem. I love that he can be brutal and surprising that is what makes he more appealing and interesting character from the two. Jamal is always going to be the chosen son and hakeem is always going to the rapper who wants to get laid but you never know what to expect from Andre.

Had to laugh over Cookie's line about how Andre's changing in a way she can't get a handle on. Well, maybe if you actually spent any quality time with him instead of only wanting him when you want something out of him or he's on the edge of a breakdown maybe you could figure it out. Thank you, I think people have forgotten that andre has never been cookies pick. She loves him, yes because that her son but he isnt her fav or the one she adores, that would be Jamal and sometime hakeem but andre has always been the black sheep of the family. I think he sees alot himself with nessa. She is the talented girl who may never get her shine because of the way she looks or her style of music and he feels the same way that he will never get his shine because he bipolar and ivy lead grad that doesnt sing. He feels the only way to succeed is to scheme because noone is paying attention or cares.
Cookie might not be so high on Jamal if he didn't have any singing talent. As it is she sees Jamal is getting high and she's not even trying to help him. He almost died a couple of weeks ago and she's clueless about that. She's too into her new boyfriend.
Andre's the overlooked son because he doesn't have any singing talent, but he's smarter than either brother is. Neither parents treat him that well. One parent is protecting the bitch that murdered his wife and child and the other ignores him until she needs him to show up to try and impress her new boyfriend's mother.
Far as I'm concerned he's just giving back what he's gotten.
Each season it's a character's year. The first year it was Cookie's year. Last year it was Lucious' year. And this year it's the Year of Andre.
Wasn't cool with him messing up that lil girl's head, but I do like seeing his darker side. And I loved seeing him punk Hakeem...that was oddly hot.

NCHI9, u bring up some good points but im sure you as well as I know that promos can be misleading as hell. I bet anything nessa is going to encourage andre that he doesnt need taken care of. Lets face it Rhonda kinda babied him and made him a handicap. She rode for him but also caused him alot of depression too.

I wonder is that sign they he is finally letting go of her and moving forward with nessa completely. It seems like he may really be falling inlove with nessa, I mean he really went to bat for her in the last episode, I mean he got super pissed when that racist woman didnt think she was good enough to perform in the fashion show, I think he was really offended by that.
