There was something decidedly odd about the kiss to me too! Andre's behavior towards the little girl also raised my eyebrow. Did he sneak into her bed and chop her hair off or paid someone else to do it? Either way, it was a creepy move on his part.

yeah, it was a little creepy but it was def on the cheek---altho i did catch myself for a second, wondering where he was gonna kiss her!

no problem, it took me awhile to figure it out too 

was it? i may have to watch the episode again, i thought it was right on the lips but maybe i didn't see that right 

I was. It looked like he kissed her on the lips. I can't stand her though. I liked the character better when I thought she was some bipolar chick who offed herself. Leslie Uggams brings nothing to the table but a smart remark and glaring at the camera. I thought when it was revealed his mom was alive last season it would open sooooooooo many cans of worms about Lucious' mysterious childhood and past but it didn't. Her existence is a huge let down.

^This. What a waste of potential. It's not Uggams' fault. It's like they are rotating writers who forget what has happened from episode to episode. I was waiting for Mom to come in and completely blow up the spot. I don't know what her purpose is now.

This story has a lot of potential, but they've made Leah almost as unlikable as Lucious. Gotta admit though, when she walked in on Lucious & Anika--I was rollin--"This is where I eat!!!"

Yes, it was just you. Plenty of parents/children kiss each other on the lips (although he kissed her on the cheek). I always wonder about people when they see something sinister in something so loving.

@honey: Yea it did look a little weird as if he did it on the mouth. But it was on the cheek, just looked a little close the mouth. I thought the same thing.

Yes definitely. It was all kinds of incestuous lol. I don't buy the " that's what kids to their parents" arguments because at a certain age it is seen as wrong or at least suspect and can be taken to mean something different when you're older. It was not done in a mother-son manner, if it was I wouldn't be bothered but it wasn't. Not the mention the weird sex scene with Anika right before it that didn't help much. Lucious aka Terrence is not the least bit attractive to me and this aggressive sex scenes are awkward. Anika was the only saving Grace, no pun intended, to make it bearable.
