Jamal was desperate to succeed with this performance and a failure would have finished him for sure. Cookie was caught between a rock and a hard place BUT she knew what had to be done after that performance.
Boy! Cookie was something else doing the plumbing under that sink!! I was impressed.
I was touched when Jamal gave her a hug after his successful performance. I haven't felt this way about Cookie's motherly love since S1. It was well done. When she told Jamal he had to go to rehab, that was touching and I like how Lucious supported that too.
It is time for Jamal to get the help he needs and I'm glad both Cookie and Lucious are making sure of that.
