If anyone is a huge Y&R fan like me, then you can say this is an truthful statement. Both can be good villians, want power and love hard but also love dangerously. Adam as badly as he would despise his father at times, he always wanted his approval just like andre with luscious. Just like Adam and Victor, luscious and Andre def. have a love and hate relationship.
shareI haven't watched Y&R in a long time but God no! No way is Lucious the black Victor. Victor had slept with virtually all the females on that show including HIS SON'S WIFE! I don't in anyway, way, shape or form see Lucious sleeping with Tiana, Nessa, Rhonda or Becky!!! Hell to the no! On the contrary, it was instead Lucious's son who ended sleeping with his fiancée.
Secondly, Lucious is from the streets. He's rough, tough, mean, can sing and knows how to play the tough games. Victor has no clue what that kind of life is like. The only thing they both have in common is they are both rich. Lucious can be suave, slick and gentlemanly when he wants to be too. In essence, Lucious knows both worlds.
I don't know about Adam but I don't think he has had to contend with having a disorder like bipolar and having his father despise him and insult him because of it and still try hard to have a good relationship with him. If you ask me, I would think Andre has a much tougher burden to bear than Adam. We still have to see how Andre's relationship with Nessa pans out;if it is true love or just cat and mouse games. However, Lucious's love for Cookie will never waver.

I don't know about the streets, but I could swear Victor had a very tough childhood and grew up in an orphanage until he ran away. He wasn't born to privilege. Isn't that why when he took the name Newman (as in self made and a brand new person) when he changed his name?

Comparing Victor Newman and the late Adam Newman to Lucious and Andre. Hmmmmmm....Victor Newman as evil as he can be has more style then Lucious Lyon. At least Victor can actually show some love to Nikki. Lucious showed very little love to Cookie and Cookie deserved loving. Adam was quite messed up in the head just like Andre is and trying to bring down their fathers. Adam of course failed and more than likely so will Andre.
