All the characters are terrible, they just give him more screen time so you'll buy the singles on iTunes. Fox will shove that queen down your throat so hard you'll either wind up hating all gays or thinking that's how all gays act. That song he did last episode about Lucious was so disrespectful that had it been me I would've tossed his ass in the garbage right there via the window.
Jamal sings nice songs and has a great voice.
I thought the song he sang about Lucious was one of his best. I really liked it. It was more jazzy/classical and I did not find it disrespectful at all.
Lucious was the reason Jamal got shot and with all the terrible things Lucious has said and done to his kids and family, I think Jamal's song nailed it. And don't forget that Lucious became successful because Cookie took the fall for him so he could stay out and make a good life for their family.
Jamal is right. The only reason why Lucious let his woman go to jail for 17 yrs was because he was not man enough to say he did it...LOL!!

It's a guilty pleasure for many, crosses the racial lines and everything. That's why it's still on, and I agree, it's low quality TV that looks glitzy. Perfect for today! I actually fast forward through most of the songs. There is no character to connect to and root for. But it's supposed to be "campy" TV. Meaning, Lucious is going to get abducted from aliens next season or, Jamal gets a sex change, and they do it all with a straight face! It is what it is, bad acting, average music and all, we....I still watch.
I do want to add, I am embarassed how a super rich (supposedly) family treats each other. No one loves anyone more than themselves on this show. Even with all the money, everyone is all about self. I thought Lucious's wife was going to be the stabilizer for the show. That's all this show needed was ONE character who had a brain and morals. It's a train wreck, which is how the director wants it to be.
