in the interview the girl playing Adriana says that even Gandolfini didnt know the end was sudden black , but , does that imply that some other ending(s) had bee filmed ? or didn't she just randomly say that ? because if there is no alternate ending then Gandolfini would know the ending since they didnt film anything else than them talking at their table drinking their coke.

In one interview, edie falco says that the scenes were filmed, obviously a lot more than were actually used and they never knew how it would be arranged and put together. they simply filmed their scenes and were never mde privvy to what it all meant.
In the last episode of that documentary it was laid out pretty clear that tony died. "black means death, white too.."
Chase overestimated the intelligence of the american public, infact thats pretty much a line from episode 1 of season 6... he also knows that having people still debate this 17 years on, is good for the show. it keeps it alive. and explaining things like this never works.
