Spoilers....

Beginning of Film:
Man charged with raping, and drugging a young lady (i.e., blood test or some test showed the girl had morphine in her system. Morphine pills/pain killers were found at young man's house upon arrest).

End of Film:
Court breaks for final recess. The new lawyer (the second one who's been working on the case for several months to a year) frantically calls one of her buddies who works at a lab.

No time to waste, she requested for him to fax a toxicology report to the courtroom.

The lawyer anxiously awaits the fax, as she stalls in front of the court. Fax arrives.

The toxicology report shows the young lady had the same amount of morphine as someone ingesting poppy seeds from a muffin. The dude is cleared of all charges after 2+ years in "max jail".

My mind is blown. I'm in shock! lol

Why didn't the Accused, the first lawyer, or even the second lawyer not know how much "morphine" was in the girl's system from the start of trial [or since incarcerated]?

I feel like the whole movie was a troll job. The ending of the film was like a punchline from a Seinfeld episode.

I wasn't even going to write any of the many problems with the film, as the film looked like it had a small production budget, and for the fact, the Accused wrote the story/script - it's always very honorable to create and produce a film project (despite any errors or "low production value").....

While watching the movie, I still wanted to know how the story concluded, but that final courtroom sequence robbed me of thought, leaving me dumbfounded and at odds with reality.

Nonetheless, well wishes to all involved in the production.
