I'm having trouble understanding some of the plot, the show is waay too fast.
The cast of the show really sucks compared to Viola Davis.
Too many sex scenes, why?
The creators should expand the length of the show a little more and create more depth into the characters. I don't need to know what they're love life is like.
Haha I agree. I'm on S3 E7 and I'm totally lost but don't feel like going back to figure out which episode I stopped paying attention at. I've been eye rolling at the amount of "sex scenes" since maybe midway through S1 I think. Seriously, when do these people have time to study? I've noticed some shows have started to do this to draw in an audience and once they have their audience then the sex scenes start to dwindle, I've mainly seen this in like historical shows (The Tudors, Versailles) or shows that people may overlook because it's their normal genre, it's like they are saying, "No it's really good, I swear! Look, see, major sex scene!" I've noticed too that when the story line needs to stretch out to x amount of episodes then they add in sex scenes bc it fills in time because they can create, make up and break up relationships for any reason without it affecting the main story line so the sex scenes fill in time that may otherwise give away the mystery or create plot holes if they create actual dialogue. Or the writers are just lazy. I work from home so I spend most of my day watching TV shows and what I said isn't true for all shows because I haven't seen every show. I don't think Sex and the City had as many sex scenes in it as half the cable shows do and that show was supposed to be about sex, relationships, and New York...I guess. I dunno, at one point I was hoping 3 of the 4 girls would get hit by a subway train, but I was desperate for something to watch and it was either that or silence. After the last episode, I realized I should have picked silence.
Sex scenes are really pointless though because all we really need to see is the part where they're laying there in bed naked under a sheet to get that they had sex. I mean I don't think they were playing video games or anything, but like my best friends Mom said, "Can't sell toothpaste without sex." and she's pretty on point bc a lot of toothpaste, gum, or breath mint commercials use sex in the ads.
What I also don't is that there sooo many gay man in the city, like on every corner, older men are straight though? I find this show really probably also the reason I quit it months ago, it's not on netflix anymore.
just started the first season and yes. too many sex scenes that stretch the episodes and don't bring the plot forward.
also I startet to skip the secondary court cases because I just want to know the main case. They are nice in the first place but start to annoy after some episodes...I not sure to watch the full 6 Seasons of the series now that I am at episode 11 in season 1...
It is because none of the script makes sense. The psychology of the characters is unrealistic, everyone is killing everyone with completely unrealistic reasons. No wonder you are confused. The characters all act illogically.
