In the last scence it seemed that wes and nate was plotting something and if wes asked for help nate would agree. Question is why? It could be that they both want to get at annalise. Wes still thinks she had something to do with rebecca's "disappearance" and nate just hates annalise . It's plausible but not necessarily a strong suit.

A very real dead body that looks exactly like Wes.

Plus, all they had to do was go to the police with all the information that they know. Wes was even going to be given immunity for snitching. No reason to fake his death and injure Laurel.
