Why the hell didn't Kyle shoot?

That just seemed like a crappy way to get the actor off the show. They could have just given him the transfer and left it like that. Running and attacking someone rather than just quickly shooting them was a stupid move. It was another sign of the poor writing that has plagued this season.

Yeah it just seemed ridiculous, especially when cops are indeed trained to shoot first if there's a gun directly on another cop with intention for them to get shot.

But I assume it makes it all the more dramatic now, with Elizabeth feeling guilty about how she treated him and instigating his death, and leaving his son an orphan. The son can be all filled with angst and hatred for Elizabeth, and go off the rails some. Effecting Carter and Taylor and their group of friends etc.

Much more drama this way, compared to if he had just transferred out.

Exactly. It's so painfully obvious which direction they are heading with all this and it's just drama for the sake of adding drama. The same as having Carter and Max sleep together. The purpose of that was what again? Oh yeah, to impart a moral on the virtue of *forgiveness* or some such BullS**.

Yeah, and I just knew that Taylor's gonna make a scene during dinner. Elizabeth was funny when she shouted "Freeze!" for the first time. The whole confrontation between the cops and Crash's uncle was very campy and entertaining.

The guy playing Crash still can't act to save his life, he shows no emotion whatsoever. This show's starting to go to "so bad it's good" territory.

Kyle and Elizabeth have to be two of the worst cops.

I don't know what it is but every scene they write for the cops in this show comes off bad and terribly written

At least this time Elizabeth made Carter stay home.

The Heavens will shake if they ever broadcast a show where one of a pair of cops doesn't say: "Backup? We don't have time to wait for backup!"

reply

Because then all the corndogs would shout Police brutality!!! And destroy their hometown.
