Missed opportunity with twins

Beacuse Carter and Taylor are twins right? And Kathryn Prescott (Carter) actually has a twin who is an actress. The actress who plays Taylor looks nothing like her.

But know that we know the twins actual parentage, where did the blonde hair come from?

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean. Because I'm pretty sure Carter's hair is dyed-intenional or not-and I'm a natural redhead, but my parents are both brunettes. You know, recessive genes and all.

But, yeah, as long as you through 'fraternal' in the mix we're not supposed to question, I guess.

I think what was meant by that was Lori is their biological mom, David is the biological dad. Both have dark hair. Where did Taylor get her blonde hair.

Recessive genes. Though I would not be surprised if there is a twist in the next episode when Lori goes on trial.

Trial?

I haven't been watching the show regularly. She is going to stand trial? Surely she is too crazy to be able to properly defend herself in a trial?

I have a lot of episodes from last season and this season recorded that I haven't watched yet. I was planning to binge watch at some point... But I don't like the whole Lori being the bio mom thing. It's inconsistent with the first season and I mostly hate it when new writers/show runners come on and change things.

Is there any chance that results were mixed up or screwed with somehow and Lori actually is not the bio-mom?

The writers have not included a scene this season where the DNA is confirmed one way or another, that Lori is the bio mom. Something happens in the next episode that gets both Carter and Taylor very upset and there is a mysterious man called to the witness stand (but the two things might not be related).

The only inconsistency from season 1 vis a vis Lori being the bio mom, was the scene with Elizabeth and David talking about how they had to get married because Elizabeth got married. While I might agree wtih you that the showrunner/writers changed the original plan for the explanation of why from the season 1 showrunner/creator of the show, since the parents never specifically say that they were pregnant with Carter/Taylor, it only bothers me that the writers this season have not addressed that scene. It is possible to miscarriage late in pregnancy or have a stillborn child, and Elizabeth losing her first child might have made it more difficult for her to get pregnant again.

I never thought about the first pregnancy being a miscarriage. That's a possibility. I wish they would actually address that though. It would make me feel better about the "twist" of Lori being the bio-mom/egg donor.

One thing though: sometime in season one, David mentioned that Liz had cheated on him in the past with Kyle (when he found out about the second affair). Did they ever address that again? I just wonder if David's affair with Lori was perhaps a revenge affair. Or was Liz's first affair with Kyle after David's affair with
Lori?

Additional information, Megan is more into writing and behind the scene stuff material so no wonder she wasn't play Taylor

Movies and tv series will be the death of me

Carter and Taylor are FRATERNAL twin sisters and Kathryrn Prescott's sister simply wasn't interested.

What did you want the producers to do.

When the stars are the only things we share
Will you be there?
