Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Max say that he and Taylor met six months ago?

In six months time Carter was found, Max was shot, Carter ran away with Crash, David and Elizabeth separated and then got back together again, the Wilsons won Carter to their side, Carter was kidnapped...again, Lori was put in a mental health institution and then got out, Lori took the Wilsons to court, they got a court date and went to trial and had a hearing, and Kyle dies all within six months.

Am I missing anything?

That seems like a lot of drama and trauma to fit into six months.

Also, unrelated, but how does Lori get custody of Ben after having been in a mental institution? Not to mention she is a two time kidnapper. I wouldn't let Lori have custody of a marmot at this point. How do they see fit to give her custody of a human being?

Yes, you missed that Taylor went from being a dowdy goody-two-shoes, so sexually repressed that not only she ever kissed the one boy she thinks she loves, she hasn't ever been to a party -- has slept casually with drug-dealer Ofe, and descended into drug addiction.

Yes, you missed that, within days of getting Carter back, Elizabeth let Carter borrow car to drive several hundreds miles, alone, without even verifying for herself that Carter really knew how to drive. She loaned Carter the car without knowing whether she was a drug addict, or drunk who would get high and crack the car up, possibly killing herself, and the occupants of the other car.

Yes, you missed that Elizabeth's police superiors allowed her insert herself right into the middle the search for Carter's kidnapper, even though that is huge conflict of interest, and would expose the entire department to public shame if Lori was killed of injured during her capture, or if innocent civilians were killed or injured.

Yes, you missed that David owed his publisher $500,000, and never told his wife.

Yes, you missed that Zen-like Max, the foolsaint, not only forgave Crash for shooting him, but they seemed on the brink of becoming BFFs, when Crash got him a job in his uncle's garage.

Yes, you missed that Crash's uncle is a hard-core drug dealer and killer, and that he wants to kill him, because he believed that Crash betrayed him to Elizabeth.

Yes, you missed that Crash joined the Army, went through basic training. An army hitch is usually a year, why isn't he back on base?

Your funny and have a great memory! The time line on this show is crazy. Apparently Crash is in charge of the military because he's so cool... Did you notice that Carter still wears her 3 shirts at the same time when in bed with Crash. Funny MTV , trampy sex is OK but no pretending Carter might be naked in bed with her bed buddy!
