Is this worth watching if it's not coming back?
We have the whole season on our DVR, but hadn't gotten around to watching it yet. Does it end with a bunch of cliffhangers or is it still worth it to watch?
Thanks!

If you're into the subject matter it's a good watch.
shareOnly you can make that decision. I thought it was good.
"If Mad Max Fury Road is an 8 (I gave it a 1). Then I'll use 8 for OK, 9 is better, 10 is best."
I am 54 year old love the era but the show sucked for an idea on my taste
Ihate shows like game of thrones.
THE WIRE was the best show ever.

My only advice is if you do decide to watch it just keep remembering that while the last couple of episodes leave a lot to the imagination, but it does have a little closure (there's no great cliffhanger IMHO). I know that sounds hypocritical, but they could have extended the last episode or done one more and at least tried to give the show an ending most could live with. Why not try the pilot episode and go from there...
shareDo you love Martin Scorsese's movies? Are you a fan of Mick Jagger? Did you like the Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire? Do you think the 70s was one of the best era in music?
Yes to all of that? Then don't waste your time, because even if it had all the ingredients for a great series, they fu**ed up the recipe.
If I don't reply, you're probably on my ignore list for something I forgot already
Yeah don't bother. Marginal show.
I watched the whole first season and was intent on at least starting the second - but I feel pretty indifferent to the news of the cancellation.
Not good enough.
As for the specific question of cliffhangers, I would say there are some considerable loose ends that will of course never be tied up - so even more reason to not bother.
I personally liked the show a lot, but honestly, no it's not worth watching now that we know the story ain't going anywhere but blue balls city.
I might however recommend the pilot, it is after all a two-hour-long Scorsese-directed joint, so of course it's good, just don't exect any closure.
- A point in every direction is the same as no point at all.
Than was my recommendation, as well. Watch the pilot, because if they changed one thing about the ending it could also be a stand alone movie. And if your content with investing your time into something that isn't going anywhere but still want to see more of the characters and the music scene...have at it...
