I've been interested in this show when it was hitting television, but unfortunately I haven't had the time to watch it back then, simultaneously hearing about the negative reviews. What's the consensus on it now? Should I watch it or is it as bad as people made it out to be, at least after the first few episodes?

shareI found it a moderately entertaining though highly flawed series. The music is great and the re-creations of artists are what make this worthwhile; the so-very-tired mob plot detract considerably from those strengths in my book. Still, at only 10 episodes, it's easy enough to digest and move on. So I'd begrudgingly recommend it.
