The pilot aired tonight. I thought it was fairly underwhelming and not interesting enough. Joshua Jackson does a decent job, but I needed more. For me, this is the weakest of the new shows I have checked out.

Yeah, it was just okay, but it definitely needs to find its footing. It seems to not know if it wants to be a goofy medical comedy or a serious medical drama with some comedic elements.

Looks like a cross between Love Boat and Fantasy Island.

That's what I thought but the description just says medical drama - so what is it?

I cant imagine that many medical emergencies happening on a cruise ship. it would be better if it was a 30 minute comedy about the people who work and vacation on ships.

I did as well. This show just looks and feels so fake. There was so much smiling going on from JJ and others going on for the duration of this show. I kept waiting for set pieces to fall over.
