Jacob is already my favorite character
He looks like he would make me laugh a lot in the movie. Muggles/No-Majs were usually the funniest parts of the original Potter movies.
He seems the most relatable.
What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

While that is definitely the intention, regarding Jacob. It is refreshing the J.K. Rowling is finally introducing a Muggle (sorry, No-Maj) who is normal, and not some religious zealot or just plain hatable. Rather someone who will experience and view the magical world with genuine curiosity and awe. share
