Jacob.

If I had to pick a favorite character in this film, I guess it would be Newt. I liked the rain scene too, that was used to obliviate the no mages. Another favorite scene for me was when Newt had Jacob follow him into the suitcase and showed him all the fantastic beasts that he was caring for.

Jacob, and the actor portraying him, was the biggest surprise of this film for me. What a talent man, truly a natural! I knew Eddie Redmayne would do a killer job, having seen his unbelievable performance in "The Theory of Everything" a few months ago and he did. Jacob's chemistry with Queenie, as unlikely as it must look on paper, worked perfectly and was charming as hell.

I've always loved Dan Fogler, but I didn't even realize it was him til the rain scene. I knew he looked familiar, but I couldn't think of what I had seen him in until I realized who was.

But yeah, both the character and the performance were great. I would actually put Jacob in my Top 5 HP characters of all time.

I absolutely really enjoyed Jacob in this film. He was my favorite character. The scene with the rain was my favorite scene in this movie as well. How about you guys?

Jacob was absolutely hilarious. And I actually ended up really rooting for him and Queenie.
