Great first half, then goes down the drain.....

This is just me, but I find evil that emanates from humans much more terrifying than one that's supernatural...in films. I liked the suspense early on, but once it became obvious where things were heading, it became pretty ridiculous. The potential of bringing in the 'other man', Will, for more suspense and tension was lost also.

I guess I thought this was going to be a new-age "Deliverance" or something where at least the threat is tangible, but it just turned into alien possession nonsense.

A shame, and a lost opportunity.

I have to agree, it started out really well and had me intrigued as the husband started doing detective work, but then it turned into a rushed mess. She eked out an explanation of what what happening, he found a bloody hat but didn't think to call anyone, I guess they had no phones in the store. Then the blurry aliens at the end like the budget ran out. What couples don't carry cell phones? No one to call and let them know they arrived safe? At least throw in something about being unable to reach anyone.
