That kid from Room.
He's the main kid here, right? He was amazing in Room. Looking forward to this.

share'That kid', Jacob Tremblay, was magnificent in 'Room'.
I hope for the same here..

Sorry, but here is very bad. I just saw this last Friday. I don´t know what was filmed first.
shareWhile I enjoyed him in Room, not so much here. In fact, he was the biggest distraction from the film for me (I'm speaking of Before I wake, not Room). He is speaking very noticeably in a forced "baby voice". Imagine a 8 year old boy speaking very deliberately and OTT like a 2 or 3 year old. However, by the time the film was in full swing, the boy's excellent performance in every other possible way made up for the extremely distracting affectation in his voice. I found myself noticing it less and less as the film progressed.
In his defense, that is something the director should have corrected (instead, the director is probably the one who asked him to play up his voice, out of the misguided belief that it would add some kind of creepy kid factor).
I don't know what 2 or 3 year olds you know who speak like Tremblay does in this movie, dude. He was probably like 6 when this was shot. He sounded like a 6 year old, just a timid one.
