Officer Parker

I cannot say the same about the other characters, because I found many of them compelling and genuine..

But I agree that Officer Parker was a highlight. Her compassion was heartwarming, and her intelligence and intuition was admirable and heroic.

Ma and Jack were both sane and sensible.

Ma just got pushed pretty far. Anyone who went through what she did would have been traumatized to some point.

Jack was young, so he was a little delusional but all kids are.
Neither one is insane though.

And you CAN'T in anyway say Leo isn't sane or sensible.

Totally agree. And on top of that she made Sherlock Holmes look completely clueless. How she deciphered what Jack said and then successfully track down the exact location of the room in a few hours was absolutely astounding.
