He never kisses her or is passionate with her, just hugs her, even when he knows they are destined to be together
What gives?
Are the writers real melancholic romantics or something?
They're both supposed to be committed to stopping the virus first. I think that's why the two characters put the romance to the back at times. The idea is that either might have to give their lives at any moment, and they couldn't do that if their first commitment was to each other.
