Ok just ended season 2. Am I totally missing if people died?

I've read in threads that Ramse and Jones are dead. Just an hour ago I watched Ramse walk off to see his son and Jones escape Titan and watch it disappear. Am I missing something that went wayyy over my head?!

Also I hope they get Jennifer out of the past in France within the first couple episodes. She is just a way fun character to sit on the sidelines.

spoilers for 2x12/2x13

ramsay led the others to titan, which wasn't there when they first arrived, but then later it was there. an army was waiting for him and killed him and the others. time did indeed begin to collapse and the storms destroyed the facility in 2044, this was after Cole and Cassie failed to prevent the witness from causing a paradox by killing the 3rd primary in 1957, but time did not seem to have collapsed to them, so they ended up living in 1957 together, believing ramsay had succeedd and everything was over.

cassie tells cole that she is pregnant with their child, and they settle into a life in 1957, but cole saw a woman appear to him in a vision when time appeared to freeze (pplayed by original 12 monkeys movie actress madelaine stowe). she was another (4th) primary in 1957, she told him time was collapsing, and the red forrest was appearing - cole went and found that the red forrest was appearing and per her instructions collected a few of the red leaves, she told him to drink the red tea and he could send his consciousness to past points in his own history without the use of a time machine - this allowed him to go back to before the 3rd primary was killed (by taking over his own body) and this time managing to stop the 3rd paradox, thereby preventing time from collapsing and preventing the facility and time machine in 2044 from being destroyed. because of this, he and cassie return to 2044 where jones is waiting for them. using information the 4th primary in 1957 gave cole, he knows that an army waits for ramsay at titan and he will be killed, so jones sends the 3 of them to help them using the machine (time travel without the time part - meaning they can instantaneously travel to help them) and with the help of the daughters and jennifer goin, they save ramsay and the others, realising that titan itself is a city that is a time travelling city. titan begins to power up, about to travel to another time (2063), cole, ramsay and the others evacuate the city, but during the evacuation they are attacked, cassie somehow remembers the alternate timeline that she and cole shared, and that she is somehow still pregnant, jennifer tries to sabotage the city, but gets hit by a time wave, sending her to WW1 french battlefield, the others manage to get out of the city, but cassie was captured, titan splinters away with her in it. in 2063 she learns that her unborn child IS the witness. in 2044, cole gets jones to splinter him into the future in search of cassie... to be continued.

Yes that's what I thought. I read a couple threads that they were permanently dead and I was so confused. Thanks for really confirming it.

I don't know why anybody thought they were permanently dead. Their deaths were SOOO completely over-the-top, and so quick... and they died one episode before the season finale...

We had every reason to believe that they'd somehow be rescued.

Now.. spoiler: Deacon's death, on the other hand... happened in the finale, he redeemed himself by goin' out as a hero, and he even got to say one last great line before he died: "I'm sorry I killed you." to Jennifer... giving us every reason to believe his death is probably permanent.

Sometimes fires don't go out when you're done playin' with them.

In reference to your Spoiler ;)

both Todd Stashwick (Deacon's Actor) And Terry Matalas (Show creator) have said that we have not seen theLast of Deacon and his story is far from over, so....there's that.

Though it would be illogical to have him return, someone needs to die for real. Too much plot armour is a bad thing and him "coming back" would be exactly that. The only character that died in all of season two was Cat's BF when he got eaten up by the machine(though I wouldn't be surprised if it spit him back out at some point).

It's a time travel show.

As long as the characters can freely travel through time, no one is permanently dead.
