I know the writers have a 4 season plan, but I think the chances of it being renewed for a fourth season are pretty slim.
I just hope they have a proper ending and tie up all the loose ends. Ending with a cliffhanger now would be unbearable.
I think they would and unless the ratings go down really low in Season 3 I could see 12 Monkeys lasting for at least another 2 or 3 years and my prediction is it will last up until Season 5 along with Dark Matter and Krypton which is bound to be a hit since it is a DC show about Superman's relatives.
