Pretty please. I'm invested in 12 monkeys, i loved every episode. I need some similar sci-fi/mystery show with interesting plot, good characters who compliment each other and have great chemistry... any suggestions?

I watch The Flash and Outlander (and i love them), watched season 1 of Wayward Pines, but the first episode of the second season didn't amaze me and i stopped. Should i continue?
I've heard about Timeless, that it's similar to 12 monkey, but i think LOT won't be my cup of tea. I let it slide with Arrow and The flash, but they are too much adventure minded to me.
Does Outlander have a lot of sci fi stuff? In the trailer it looked more like a romance so I didn't watch it yet.
shareIf you like Fringe I would definitely recommend Haven and Eureka. Haven is very similar to Fringe and even had a number of the same storylines except it was set in a small town instead of a city and Eureka has all the weird going-ons but is more of a Sci Fi/Comedy. Tried watching Haven, too much corny and bland, but i only watched half of the 1st episode. I don't know if i should give it another go...
shareThat's up to you but I loved Haven and I think you should give it another go. The first four seasons were the best and while it went down in quality in Season 5 and 6 (technically Season 5 Part 2) I still loved it and was sad to see it go.

Frequency just started, but it's maybe my favourite new show of the season and filling that void until 12 Monkeys returns.
Thank you for the suggestions. I'm downloading the 3 episodes of Frequency. I've already watched Orphan Black 4 times until now (Tatiana Maslany's acting never gets old), waiting eagerly for the new season now.
And about this Dollhouse, many people are suggesting it. So will a fan of Fringe, OB, 12 Monkeys, like Dollhouse? :)
I'd say definitely. It starts off a bit slow (Fox wanted stand-alones apparently, which kind of brought the show down at the beginning) but builds up to a great 2-season series that despite being cancelled, has a defined ending, so no awful unresolved cliffhanger.

Just in case you aren't aware, Frequency didn't get capped up so it doesn't look good. I love it also. Continuum and SG- 1 top my list.
shareStarted watching Frequency, but stopped after the 5th episode... CW tends to ruin their shows after awhile. Too much similarity between them and dull characters. The flash and iZombie being the exceptions tho. I strongly recommend iZombie btw.
shareI Love izombie too! It is the only zombie show I have ever liked because it is more like a crime procedural with a unique, funky twist.
Frequency will be airing on Netflix the day after it finishes its CW run which I think makes it Jan 23. If it does VERY well, there is a remote chance they will pick it up like they did Longmire. I'm waiting to binge watch the 2nd half there.
Just in case it is of interest, the CW already announced renewals of 7 of their shows for next year.

I started watching 12 Monkeys because I liked Aaron Stanford. I'm pleasantly surprised because I like the show. I'm also glad that this topic was posted because I was was looking for other similar sci-fi shows.
