Season Two is here!

Now streaming on Hulu. They posted the whole thing at once, so I'm going to have a long night!

What did you think? I enjoyed it more than season 1. I was sorry to see Sue go but am eager to see what the writers do with season 3. Any news on whether Hulu plans to renew it?

It may still be a bit too early to expect any news just yet.

Someone tweeted Hulu yesterday to ask about a third season,
but (up to the time of this post) Hulu has not replied.

FWIW, columnist Bill Brioux, writing for The Canadian Press (published through various sources) recently reported that star Tyler Labine is (quoting the columnist's words here) "willing" "to try a longer run with a series, especially with Deadbeat."

Time will tell whether the show will get that longer run.

Loved it! This show has really hit its stride. Some great film parodies, too. I sure hope there's another season!

Watching an episode now and I am pretty sure the character is a riff on Seth greens character from can't hardly wait.

Damn the man! Save the Empire! Rave On, Rave On

I thought the same thing. I had to look really closely at first to make sure it wasn't Seth Green.

you're wearing fish boots.

Nice Dead Like Me reference... A character named Millie.

Right? And she's adorable, too. I really enjoyed Millie.

I was a bit disappointed that they didn't follow up on the gory suspense in which they finished the first season, but that they chose to have the love affair between Kevin and Sue as recurring narrative. There's just so much opportunity for dark comedy that they left unexplored.
