I'm on the fence about this. It feels like they were being grotesque and gory for shock value, but it didn't completely work for me. I was hoping it would be more fun or entertaining. It's slower than I expected, but there is potential here. The acting is pretty good. I'm undecided if I'm going to check out future episodes. 6/10 would be my rating.
shareHello BNP,
Thank you for your reply back to this topic which is very much appreciated.
I was hoping it would be more fun or entertaining.
I've seen episodes 1 and 2 and am not sure about this yet. The acting is excellent, in particular by Nash. She's absolutely fantastic in this.
What I don't care for is some of the dialog. Firstly, a nurse/hospital administrator would never in a million years speak to a relative of a patient in the way the one in the show has! I initially thought Lois was dreaming but then I realized it was supposed to be real. No, just no. Then there's Lois shooting her gun in a residential area while running after the man who keeps breaking into her house that, I guess, they never lock!
Secondly, the scene at the end of episode 2 was way, way over the top which was actually anticlimactic to me. There must be more than one perp because I don't see how one person could possibly be responsible for that.
I'm going to stick this out for the time being in the hopes it gets just a little less illogical. I've liked a lot of what Ryan Murphy has done so I will, for the moment, continue watching.
WARNING: SPOILER TALK FOLLOWS for Episodes 3 and 4
Hi jc,
Thanks for your reply to this topic!

OK, I just watched episodes 3 and 4 and am now convinced nothing is real. I think Lois is either the one in the coma or she's in rehab going through detox hallucinations. Yes, I've noticed everything you pointed out. This is all coming from Lois, we just don't know how yet.
Now that I'm sure it's not real, I am enjoying it more. The acting is excellent and I love the way it's being filmed. The highway scenes were great! Can't wait for the next episodes!

Have you seen Episodes 5 and 6 yet? If so, what are your thoughts?
Here's the conclusion of an article that says it won't be happy if this is something that's taking place inside of the mind of Lois, and it also suggests that maybe her hubby and the NURSE are responsible for what we see happening:
https://tvline.com/recaps/grotesquerie-episode-6-ending-father-killer-1235348441/
— what if Lois’ own husband is the one taunting her? We learned this week that Nurse Redd took his seminar on terror management, and they basically had a full-blown affair before he slipped into his “coma,” so what if they’ve been working together this whole time?
Hey, at least Megan opened her eyes at the very end of Episode 6. We could really use another showtune to lighten the mood right about now.
So, how are we feeling after Grotesquerie‘s third week? Any fun theories about who’s messing with Lois? (For the record, we’ll be big-time annoyed if it turns out to be her.)
I saw episodes 5 and 6. To me, they weren't as good as the first four. I won't stop watching, I'm just mentioning that.
Regarding the nun, I think she was looking at the picture of Jesus because she knew she was sinning and having the picture in front of her at that time was making her very uncomfortable. That was a normal reaction. I personally think the knife wielder is the priest but we will see soon enough.
It's possible Lois' husband and the nurse are in on something but I still think Lois is either in a coma or in detox. Did you happen to pick up on the question Lois asked when she was on the phone with someone (person unknown) when she and the nun were in the hotel room? She asks the person on the other end "what do you mean I'm not getting better?" That indicates to me she's probably in a coma - or in and out of consciousness - and just at that moment overheard part of a real conversation between doctors.
I still think nothing is actually happening, nothing is real. People just do not act like this. Every single character is bizarre, not true to life. That's my opinion on what's going on.
Did you happen to pick up on the question Lois asked when she was on the phone with someone (person unknown) when she and the nun were in the hotel room? She asks the person on the other end "what do you mean I'm not getting better?
See I don't think the orderly is involved with her daughter at all. I don't think anything is real. He probably just works at whatever facility she's in so he's in her thoughts. Or perhaps he's the daughter's boyfriend in real life so he's in her thoughts.
The nun and the priest have probably visited her in the facility so they're in her thoughts too.
I do think she will wake up at some point and we'll find out why she's in a coma - or detox. It might turn out that her daughter is actually thin and her husband faithful. 🙂
Your ideas sound interesting and it would be a TOTAL SHOCK to discover that her daughter is actually THIN. And it could also make sense if she only imagines that she's NOT as a DEFENSE MECHANISM, or as a way to try to justify her drinking??? Same with the hubby. If he's also been faithful to her, then perhaps that's another way to try and DEFEND herself and her drinking too much???
Just checked the schedule for tonight and the description says:
Lois is forced to make a difficult decision
What's also ODD is the way only ONE episode is listed for tonight instead of TWO. So instead of S1 Ep 7 and 8, what's listed is several episodes of S1/Ep 7. Hopefully that's just a screw up on the part of whoever typed in the schedule???
So what could the difficult decision be??? Maybe she'll decide to sign over the POWER of ATTORNEY rights to the nurse who has supposedly also been recording her conversations with the hubby???
🤔
Just checked the listings at Wikipedia and here's what I found:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grotesquerie_(TV_series)
7 TBA Max Winkler[13] Ryan Murphy & Jon Robin Baitz & Joe Baken October 16, 2024 TBD
8 TBA Elegance Bratton[14] Ryan Murphy & Jon Robin Baitz & Joe Baken October 23, 2024 TBD
9 TBA Alexis Martin Woodall[14] Ryan Murphy & Jon Robin Baitz & Joe Baken October 23, 2024 TBD
10 TBA Alexis Martin Woodall [15] Ryan Murphy & Jon Robin Baitz & Joe Baken October 30, 2024 TBD
--------------
So looks like the other TV schedule listings for tonight are right ... and we only get ONE episode tonight ... and this also continues to be the case each week from now on ... up until the time that we also only get ONE eppy again for the Season Finale on Oct 30th.
So wonder WHY things have changed from having 2 eppys each week to only having ONE eppy each week from now on????
🤔
.
According to IMDB there's one episode tomorrow, two episodes on the 23rd and final episode on the 30th.
Either way it's disappointing. I prefer two episodes each week. They're just dragging it out without consideration for their audience.
Yes, you're right. The Wiki link also confirms Ep. 8 & 9 will be aired on Oct 23rd or at the same night. Sorry for the confusion.
So tonight we get ONE eppy or Ep. 7,
then next week we get TWO eppys or Ep. 8 & 9,
and then it's back to just ONE eppy again for Ep. 10 which is the SEASON FINALE.
Is it possible the reason why we only get ONE eppy tonight is due to a BIG REVELATION coming up ... where they might finally reveal to us how this has all been something that's coming from the DISTURBED mind of Lois???
It's also curious as to why NOTHING ever seems to have been done about the ORDERLY setting Lois FREE (from the way that she'd been handcuffed to the hospital bed after the accident that involved her driving drunk).
So WHY was she allowed to roam around FREE after that??? Shouldn't they have hunted her down and arrested her again after she escaped???
If something "Super Special" happens tonight then I'll consider forgiving them for airing just one eppy.
But if it's only some kind of a filler type eppy as a way to drag things out, then yes, that would definitely be a disappointment.
You're basing your questions on what should happen in real life but it's not happening in real life, it's all in Lois' head. I had questions the first two episodes also but now I realize everything is in Lois' head so her brain can think up whatever her brain wants to think up, no matter how illogical it is. That's actually getting a little annoying to me at this point. We know nothing is real. I would like for her to wake up already from whatever stupor she's in and get the story into real life. There's probably no serial killer either. It's all in her head.
I have no idea why they would suddenly cut down on episodes. I do think they just want to drag it out, which I don't appreciate, but that's just my opinion.
Warning: SPOILER TALK for Episode 7 follows:
*
*
*
Have you seen Ep. 7 yet? It seems to indicate Lois is the one in a coma instead of the husband. But after we see her order them to UNPLUG him and she reads the Emily Dickinson Poem (about Death Stopping) as he dies ... before we next see the husband order them to UNPLUG her ... I'm still confused and not sure about what's real and what's not.
Plus the NUN seems to be the KILLER, before she's portrayed as her PARTNER???
And was that the PRIEST who gives her the injection that's supposed to kill her but doesn't??? Which apparently also seems to happen at the same time as the NUN kills her or she kills the NUN (at which time she also has that out of body experience and LIVES instead of Dying???
When you say nothing is real does that also mean she has no husband or daughter???
The NURSE also looks different who cares for Lois in a coma, but she also wears her hair in the same WW2 hair style as the one who cares for the hubby (who also makes sexy videos)???
Anyhow, it did look like she WOKE UP from the coma as she floats upwards from her body.
So hopefully we'll find out what's real and not real next week???
Maybe reading some REVIEWS of the eppy could also help with the confusion that one is left with about what's happening???
Found this link where the creator reveals you've been right all along about Lois being the one who's in a COMA:
Grotesquerie Episode 7 Twist Explained by Ryan Murphy - The Wrap
https://www.thewrap.com/grotesquerie-episode-7-ryan-murphy-john-landgraf-interview-fx/
The trippy hellscape of the first six episodes and Grotesquerie’s string of murders never really existed. Instead, the series prior to this point was all a manifestation of a comatose Lois.
According to Murphy, this twist was “always” baked into the DNA of “Grotesquerie.”
As dream Lois accused the nun of grisly murder, the real Lois is starting to wake up.
... the team had to build three different versions of the kitchen
... we were trying to visually tell people is you are moving through your unconscious back to the world.”
Murphy and Landgraf assured TheWrap that the twists won’t end with Episode 7. “This is actually like a Russian nesting doll. It has multiple different levels of meaning past the first reveal,” Landgraf teased. “It hasn’t fully established itself as the series it wants to be until the until the end of the 10th episode.”
Still Another article says this:
https://collider.com/grotesquerie-ryan-murphy-twist/
We wrote it because it’s about how I feel in the world now, which is like, “Wait, is this a dream? Is all of this shit that’s happening, really happening? Is no one doing anything about global warming? Is no one doing anything about women’s reproductive rights and freedoms?” If you look at it, every one of those six episodes before she wakes up is about an existential crisis that I, as a person, feel we, as a culture, are going through. For example, episode four, you think watching it that it’s a Thelma & Louise road trip through the desert. No. That entire thing, if you go back and look at it, everything is about the fear of global warming and how it’s too late and we’re caught in this fire state that we will never get out of. It was thrilling to craft something like that.
What follows is parts of 2 more articles:
In the 1st one the actress who plays the NUN tells us "2 REALITIES are happening simultaneously," and in the 2nd one we're told that we've got 3 more TWIST coming in Ep. 8, 9, and 10:
https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/grotesquerie-star-micaela-diamond-teases-weird-surrealist-ride-ahead-after-episode-7-twist/ar-AA1ssdRz?ocid=BingNewsSerp
the coma twist is the first of many to come in the final three episodes. Diamond teased that the remainder of the season questions the distinction between "the reality of dreams and the reality of whatever life is."
"You'll learn about reality, Megan's shame and why Lois' dreams really created that specific nun storyline for her.
"There really are two realities happening simultaneously. I don't really think one is less real in some way. That is the surrealism of the show.
The last three episodes will also further explore the complicated relationship between the awake Lois and the "real" Megan.
https://ew.com/grotesquerie-episode-7-reveal-niecy-nash-betts-ryan-murphy-8729002
Ryan Murphy promises the big Grotesquerie reveal is just the first of many twists: 'We're not done'
"[Episode] 8 has a twist, 9 has a twist, and 10 has a twist," says the co-creator and writer.
OK, I just saw it. At least we're in some semblance of reality, although it seems quite bleak, between the husband's affair and Lois' affair and her having a partner that wants her job. Having said that, I am not sure that this is total reality yet. It's more reality than when she was in a deep coma with everyone acting bizarre, but if she's not fully awake, a lot might still be in her head.
Ryan Murphy undoubtedly got this idea from Jacob's Ladder, Mulholland Drive and/or Dead End where the movies turned out to be complete dreams or hallucinations from dying people, no reality at all until the end.
Until episode 10, we won't know who or what is entirely real and who or what isn't.
Haven't seen Dead End, but found this summary & a funny review of it which could come in handy with the holidays on the way:
https://everything.explained.today/Dead_End_(2003_film)/
John Noonan of HorrorNews.net gave the film a positive review, writing, "A potent mix of nasty and fun, Dead End is the perfect film to put on at family gatherings to get them all out of your house." 😁
Also have lots of ideas about what may have really happened in MD. Such as Naomi's character finding Rita's address on her Dr. Lic in her purse (while Rita was taking a shower), & going to her place while she's sleeping (hoping to find still more money there due to the 50 K Rita had in her purse). Then she confronts the roommate and kills her (which is the corpse that they find in the bed when they take the taxi there after Naomi's character leaves the audition).
Also NOTE the way the director says to "PLAY the TAPE," which means the girl singing the "Every Little Star" song isn't really there at the audition like the other group was (because she's the dead girl). So when Naomi later sees her at the CAST Party in Part 2 (after the BLUE BOX is opened with the KEY they get at the CLUB of Silence), that's her imagination making her feel guilty for killing her.
Also NOTE the way they say "THIS is the GIRL" at the audition, (which she interprets as meaning they think she's the killer), which explains why she suddenly says she has to leave. Because she thinks the MOB MEN are COPS there to arrest her for murder.
Anyhow, I also think you're right and we're about to have 3 more REVELATIONS of some kind in Ep 8, 9, and 10 (due to the RUSSIAN DOLL comment the creator made about the show in an interview).
The way the NUN & Lois were dressed in the desert scene also makes me wonder if the NUN/PARTNER is merely another aspect of the personality of LOIS. Because the NUN is dressed in BLACK with WHITE trim, while Lois is basically in White with black trim (Madonna/Whore complex???). So perhaps that character merely represents another different aspect of Lois???
A PHOTO of them can be seen in this link:
https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/grotesquerie-star-micaela-diamond-teases-weird-surrealist-ride-ahead-after-episode-7-twist/ar-AA1ssdRz?ocid=BingNewsSerp
And wasn't the character in Jacob's Ladder dead the entire time, but doesn't realize that until the end of the story?
Do you think Lois may also be dead and we're learning what happened before she died (sort of like in AMERICAN BEAUTY which is another story narrated to us by an already DEAD character)???
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madonna%E2%80%93whore_complex
In psychoanalytic literature, a Madonna–whore complex (also called a Madonna–mistress complex) is the inability to maintain sexual arousal within a committed and loving relationship.[1] First identified by Sigmund Freud, who called it psychic impotence,[2] it is a psychological complex that is said to develop in men who see women as either saintly Madonnas or debased whores. Men with this complex desire a sexual partner who has been degraded (whore) while they cannot desire the respected partner (Madonna).[3] Freud wrote, "Where such men love they have no desire, and where they desire they cannot love."[4] Clinical psychologist Uwe Hartmann wrote in 2009 that the complex "is still highly prevalent in today's patients".[3]
At this point anything is possible because, as I said, I'm not convinced that what's being shown as reality is, in fact, 100% reality. Even when she wakes up from the coma, I might not be convinced she's actually awake. I won't believe anything until the final episode.
I don't think Lois is dead. I do think she will completely come out of the coma and everything will be explained, no matter how bleak or bizarre it seems, in the final episode. I say bleak and bizarre because this is a Ryan Murphy series.
It's possible the nun/partner doesn't exist, it's possible Lois' husband and daughter don't actually exist. We have no way of knowing, although I'm pretty sure they all exist in some way, just perhaps in different characters, i.e. the "priest" in Lois' dreams is actually a medical technician (we think at this point, anyway).
That's funny regarding Dead End. As much as the family bickered throughout, toward the end it was made obvious they loved each other very, very much. I enjoyed the movie very much and was surprised with the twist at the end.
Yes, in Jacob's Ladder the poor guy was dying. I don't think he was actually dead until the very end of the movie. I think his thoughts throughout were as a result of him being in a dying, semi-conscious stupor. I had forgotten about that. I also totally forgot about American Beauty. You're right, I think he was already dead but in his case, he was telling completely true events that had occurred, not while in a dream state where everything was skewed and unreal as in the other films and Grotesquerie.
I find it funny that it's being said that episode 7 has such a huge twist. I can't believe that anyone would actually think any of the craziness happening in episodes 3 through 6 was actually real. You and I knew that she had to either be in a coma or hallucinating in detox because the events in the show and how the characters were acting were definitely not true to life.
he was already dead but in his case, he was telling completely true events that had occurred, not while in a dream state where everything was skewed and unreal
We might not find out this season. I'm actually hoping there's not a season 2. I think it would be too dragged out, but we'll see.
shareIf she really is a detective, and someone is killing people as a way to mess with her mind, and the killer may have also put her into a coma, maybe she'll go into some kind of a witness protection program or assume a new identity in S2 as a way to try to stay alive?
shareIt's definitely possible a serial killer put her into a coma. And if so, witness protection is certainly possible. And while in witness protection she stumbles upon another serial killer and is pulled back into dangerous police work. We shall see. . . . . .
shareSince we also keep seeing that GOAT at the start of each episode, wonder what that represents???
The 3 part body that was Sewn together at the murder scene also had the head of a GOAT on top of it, and the GOAT HEAD was also the last piece that she puts into the puzzle she's making as her husband makes dinner.
🐐
🤔
If you pause the PROMO video for the Season Finale at the 19 SECOND TIME MARK, you can see Lois sitting on a bed inside of a PADDED room with what looks like the NUN/PARTNER laying on her lap.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnds8LsNCLk
Grotesquerie 1x10 Promo (HD) Season Finale | Niecy Nash-Betts, Travis Kelce FX series
At the 5 SECOND TIME mark you can also see her former hubby standing in front of a chart that measures his height after you hear him asking if he's under arrest.
Perhaps he blames Lois for the mistress leaving him and tries to kill her (the same way as the other ABUSER accused Lois of being gay before she kills him for beating up her Nun/Partner)???
At the 16 SECOND TIME MARK (which is difficult to PAUSE at), you can also see the LAVENEDER or PALE PURPLE COLORED HEAD of the GOAT ... which also has very creepy looking REDISH colored EYES.
And before that it also looks like the mistress is handing an APPLE that she's taken a BITE out of to someone???
We also see LOIS in the middle area ... with the mistress on one side of her and the hubby on the other side.
And the last scene that you see in the PROMO it also looks like there might be the body of someone hanging on a CROSS.
Near the start of Ep. 8 one of the BRAIN specialist doctors also tells the daughter of Lois that her mother's in a LUMINAL STATE (which apparently means she's in transition from being in one state to another one).
So maybe you're also right about how she isn't fully AWAKE yet???
🤔
I must have reached some type of limit on my response to you because it wouldn't let me add anything.
I just found this from The Hollywood Reporter: The twist was so big, and the rollout was so unique, that the pair sat down with THR to unpack their master plan: Grotesquerie is a drama series, they say, that will continue to unravel twist after twist, leading up to a finale cliffhanger that will propel viewers into a second season. But most importantly, it makes making TV fun again for the pair, who have brought viewers the American Horror Story, American Crime Story, American Sports Story and Feud anthologies, as well as Pose, among others.
"propel viewers into a second season" So it's possible we won't get the full explanation after all!
Whenever you can't type anymore just click send, then EDIT & go back into the message again so you can ADD on whatever else you want to say. Then if you run out of room again, just say TO BE CONTINUED in the next message & open another reply box again.
So the people who created this story also created the CAPOTE FEUD story as well??? Haven't see AHS, or any of the rest of these other shows you've mentioned.
Originally Mulholand Drive was also supposed to be a TV show as well. And TWIN PEAKS: The RETURN (which is Season 3 of that show) picks up 25 yrs after the end of the first 2 seasons which were made back in the 90's. And it also ends with the MAIN character who dies being resurrected and having assumed another different identity (Laura Palmer becomes Carrie).
So perhaps that's what happens in this story??? Lois will also become someone else in S2???
Have you seen the other film called INLAND EMPIRE??? It's the last one that LYNCH made. No one who discussed it ever agreed with anyone else about what was supposed to be happening in it. So maybe we'll never figure out what's happening in this story either???
Thanks for the tip on being able to finish a long post!
I haven't seen Inland Empire. I've meant to watch it a number of times but just haven't gotten around to it. Same with Feud.
I've watched AHS since it started. I've liked most seasons, some better than others, but I'm definitely a fan.
You're welcome for the tip!!!
Apparently AHS is only on Hulu, and all I have access to is stuff they air on the FX channel.
And the CAPOTE FEUD story is also the only one that I've seen in that series, because it's the only one available ON DEMAND for the FX channel.
Since streaming shows seem to be getting all mixed up with other shows, hopefully AHS will also end up airing on the FX ON DEMAND option at some point???
When you say AHS do you mean Story or Stories? American Horror Story is only on Hulu. American Horror Stories streams on multiple channels, including FreeVee (seasons 1 -6), in case you're interested.
Feud didn't do well, as I understand, and was cancelled after one season. Eventually I'll probably watch it.
I saw the first two episodes of Teacup on SyFy last night, not realizing the rest of the show is not available unless you subscribe to SyFy, which I don't! So now I have to wait until it eventually comes to Amazon Prime or some other channel/service I subscribe to. It was really good too! Same with From and Evil. They're both excellent shows on services I don't subscribe to.
Tried the FreeVee site, but apparently you have to sign up with Hulu for a Free Trial to be able to watch AHS (the stories).
Also found this which says FEUD has 2 SEASONS and it also describes how Murphy got sued:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feud_(TV_series)
The first season (subtitled Bette and Joan) centers on the backstage battle between Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) during and after the production of their 1962 film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?.[2]
The second season (subtitled Capote vs. The Swans) focuses on the end of Truman Capote's friendships with many New York socialites nicknamed "The Swans" when he lightly fictionalizes their lives in published excerpts from his ultimately unfinished novel Answered Prayers.
On June 30, 2017, a day before her 101st birthday, actress Olivia de Havilland filed a lawsuit against Feud: Bette and Joan for inaccurately portraying her and using her likeness without permission ...
De Havilland filed for estoppels to pursue action with higher courts, securing a restraining order against Murphy and the production company from airing Feud until further review and a court date with the United States Supreme Court. In January 2019, the Supreme Court declined to hear the case.[67]
"propel viewers into a second season" So it's possible we won't get the full explanation after all!
Found this link to an interview with the leading actress which seems to indicate we might another Season of this show:
https://decider.com/2024/10/23/grotesquerie-star-niecy-nash-betts-interview/
Question: Where are we with a Grotesquerie Season 2? Would you want to come back?
Answer: Yes, I would love to continue. Yes, I have been hearing some things and so if we are lucky, we will get another go around and see what happens.
Have you seen Ep. 8 and 9 yet? My favorite scene is the one where the MISTRESS of her former??? hubby says how she's SICK & TIRED of listening to him DRONE ON all the time ... as if he thinks he's some kind of a WISE SAGE ... who is actually way too FOOLISH to realize how what he has to say is BORING her to death. 😁
So the MISTRESS has actually done Lois a favor by spending time with him (which means Lois didn't have to listen to him and be BORED by him ... as he prattles on completely oblivious as to how BORING he's being).
Here's still another link which discusses what's happened ... and mentions the theme of women's rights ... and the women we previously saw who were hooked up to milk machines ... and Lois getting a vanilla milk shake:
https://tvline.com/recaps/grotesquerie-recap-episode-9-lois-dream-explained-1235370564/
So maybe the domestic abuse issue this week might also deal with the same kind of theme???
And perhaps the cheating MALE character being unaware of how he BORES his MISTRESS to death illustrates the same thing???
Here's the rest of what the article says:
WARNING: SPOILER TALK for Ep. 8 & 9 FOLLOWS:
just when we thought we finally understood what was happening, Santino Fontana dropped this fun little theory on Lois: she’s a prophet. He literally compared her to Moses. The worst moment from her dream, the Burnside family massacre, was the only murder not based on any of her real-life cases. It’s his medical opinion that Lois was actually predicting the future.
And sure enough, Lois was soon called to a horrifically familiar crime scene — only this time at night, which made it much scarier. Every detail was exactly how she dreamt it, down to whatever was in that damn pot in the kitchen. Is it a baby? Is it a bunny?
Lois was convinced that someone had stolen her therapy records and was painstakingly recreating her dream. She relayed this to Megan when they met at the motel from Lois’ dream, and she even made Megan cut her to confirm that she wasn’t still dreaming. (Is that how that works?) But the ladies’ meet-up was interrupted by Megan’s abusive boyfriend Justin, who smacked her around before tasting the wrong end of Lois’ gun.
Before Lois blew his brains out, Justin taunted her, doubting that she had what it took to kill him, which was exactly what he did to Megan during their confrontation earlier in the episode. Strange. He also mentioned a study about humans having less empathy these days, which had previously been referenced in her therapy session. Also strange. How did he know about it? And what does it mean that Lois was able to do what Megan couldn’t? There’s probably some symbolism to unpack there, but we’re too busy thinking about what could be in that damn pot.
I mentioned previously that there's a possibility of season 2. You must not have noticed that(?)
I just watched the episodes and it's very obvious that Lois is not in reality yet. My feeling is that she's either in something similar to purgatory and is trying to make amends with anyone she's hurt in order to get to heaven (in her mind); or, she's still in a semi-conscious state, on the verge of either dying or waking up. But she's definitely not in the real world yet, that's very obvious to me.
I'm on the fence about a season 2. I think I would prefer for things to be wrapped up next episode. It seems like they're really starting to drag things out now. And I don't care for politics being thrown into the mix, especially if the claims are absurd. I might feel differently after next episode.
The reason why you were quoted above (before the interview with the actress is quoted) was to illustrate how the actress confirms what you'd previously said:
YOU said:
"propel viewers into a second season" So it's possible we won't get the full explanation after all!"
So YES of course what you previously said was noticed, which is why attention was brought forth as to how the actress backs up what you'd already said before.
Or was that a quote from the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER? It sucks the way that we can only use the quote option ONE TIME in a message that we post.
My feeling is that she's either in something similar to purgatory and is trying to make amends with anyone she's hurt in order to get to heaven (in her mind); or, she's still in a semi-conscious state, on the verge of either dying or waking up.
Grotesquerie...never heard of it. Let's have a look...

Nope.
Thanks for your reply back to this topic Leto.
This photo (or screen capture) from the show that you've posted a link to isn't REAL, because it's part of a dream sequence (due to the way the character that you see is in a COMA where she imagines things that aren't really happening).
But if you still choose to not watch a show simply based upon ONE PHOTO that you've found from it, so be it.
That's too bad, because it will be your loss when you miss out on watching what's been a wonderful story that's also full of some very talented actors.
At least that's the way I see it.
