Why would a vegan go out hunting and chase a deer down to kill it? Also she is eating a smore, which has chocolate, honey (graham cracker), and marshmallow (gelatin)????
I'm starting to believe that movies don't know what vegan means.

As for the hunting I had a friend who was a vegan/vegetarian/something wouldn't eat meat but said he would like to hunt and eat a wild rabbit he killed himself. He considered that more natural and basically just opposed factory farming.
I never have understood the no honey concept. Bee keepers have been very important in the survival of honey bees. They don't kill the bees and the bees are just doing what bees do.
I SAID THE SAME THING!!! as soon as she said she was vegan i yelled at the computer, like WHY ARE YOU OUT HUNTING WITH YOUR HUSBAND THAN IS YOU'RE VEGAN? WHY ARE YOU SUPPORTING SUCH VIOLENCE TOWARDS ANIMALS? lame
shareObviously the writers/directors of this film didn't have the concept down for a lot of stuff...being vegan, hunting laws, microbiology, & ect. The more I think about this movie the more I dislike it. I understand the the message they were trying to send about video game culture & our obsession with technology but it all gets lost in everything else that didn't make sense.
