a woman's appearance... We're either writing about how her vagina looked or how couldn't be a believable homeless person, bc no beautiful woman ever is, apparently... It's pathetic.
I think this movie is awesome. And as for the viewers who are so shallow and have such short attention spans that they can't concentrate on the story beyond the appearance/beauty of the actors...it just makes me realize how insecure and lonely these people must be in their own lives, probably always straining to take the right selfie for the dating site they're on and unable to connect with anyone because instead of attempting to get to know anyone, they can't get past physical appearance - worrying wether their date is hot enough or more so worrying that they themselves are not attractive enough. Sad, superficial people.
Just watched on Netflix. Agree that it's an amazing film. So beautiful admist all the ugliness. It really uses images to convey feelings and the plight characters are in. Reminded me of films from the late 60/70s like Panic in Needle Park and Midnight Cowboy.
I couldn't agree more. The movie felt very personal to me because I have a relative who became addicted to drugs and is now on the streets. Very intelligent young man, smart, college graduate and married with two children.
As a family we've tried as much as we could to help but unfortunately his drug addiction became priority. This movie gives a very accurate portrayal at the challenges faced by homeless individuals as well as the diversity of homeless people. Not everyone who is homeless are drug addicts or have mental illnesses.
