Why does Hollywood

Always pair a African American Male with a White Female romantically, I'm not trying to sound rascist it just seems like Hollywood wants to promote it

reply

You dont mean to sound like a racist but thats something a racist would say. Also Hollywood doesnt always do that. What are you even talking about?

reply

No, that's not what a racist would say, you clueless idiot.

reply

Every movie I see were they pair white and black couples that is the way it has been not being rascist at all

reply

If you mean why do they have white female, black male as opposed to black female white male, it's probably less to do with Hollywood racism and more to do with life, look around, in non Hollywood life there are way more white female/ black male couples than black female/ white male. I have no idea what that says about society, but certain interracial couple combinations are just way more common than others. With Asians it seems to be the opposite where there are way more Asian women/ white men combos than Asian men/ white women.

If you meant that Hollywood is always having interracial couples, then I agree with the above poster who asked what you were talkng about, as most movie couples are all white.

You're not trying to sound racist, but....

Please tell me that some part of you is aware of how astoundingly delusional that is. You are racist. If you recognize that racism is bad, which you appear to based on your feeble denial, you should also recognize that the only way to grow beyond your racism is to acknowledge it.

I DO mean to sound "stupid-ist," because I am. The elimination of all stupid people from the world would be a good thing. I believe in not sullying the gene pool by allowing stupid people to mingle with normals.

See how easy it is to own your prejudices?

Movies are IQ tests; the IMDB boards are how people broadcast their score.

The OP is not racist, you idiot.

there are only two possible visually obvious interracial combinations: white man w/black woman, black man w/ white woman. black women actors are few and far between, as they are the most overlooked when it comes to quality roles. therefore by definition the black actors will be paired with white women more often, as there are simply more white successful actresses than black women actresses. To drive this point home, you could list all the well known black actresses and be sure they have been paired with white actors. Zoe Saldana w/ Bradley Cooper, Halle Berry w/ Billy Bob Thornton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw w/ Kiefer Sutherland, Kerry Washington w/ Patrick Wilson. The list goes on. It's every single Black Actress who's been paired with a white man. Not some, but all. And there simply just aren't that many of them.

Didn't care what they looked like or their race (yet both actors are very handsome) what was really profound was where they both came from. Juxtaposition of the even less fortunate to the somewhat fortunate when you think about it on a larger scale in regard to Tahir's history.
