The whole search scene was stupid.

It is a scene that is there for no reason, it is supposed to look clever but it is stupid.

it was even more stupid when you realise the entire facility and guards were in on the plan. or am i mistaken?

I know. It would be so darn easy for one person to just palm the card and stash it in a pocket that had already been searched. Done!

And, even if the card was found, it's just a playing card. No guard would look twice at it.

That scene mostly ruined the whole movie for me.

Should have just done it with Jack and ended it. It was too long and overdone.
