Especially in the American horror genre. This film is yet another example of pathetic mindless repetitive drivel being mass produced today.
The script probably took all of 5 minutes to write
I agree. I thought the first one was miles better even though it wasn't great. This one did seem like it was rushed to write and even produce, which is sad because there was a 7 year gap between films.
