One of the best horror movies of 2014
A sequel that no one thought will be a successful horror film. Fortunately, Jen and Sylvia Soska departed from the previous Jacob Goodnight movie's style and equalized blood splatters with building of suspense. Praise them for it. In 'See No Evil 2', along with the well-delivered and balanced gore effects, we receive moments of tension as well as emotional thrills of excitement. In that way the movie became less mechanical and far more inspired. Third feature-lenght film by Twisted Twins smells like success; the movie lived up to all expectations from skeptics. It turned out to be worthy continuer of financially successive project, solidly executed by genre experts. I don't see any evil in this one. PS. Katharine Isabelle's charismatic and self-ironic performance as creepy nymphomaniac outclasses even Linnea Quiqley's lustful punk girl from 'Return of the Living Dead'. Tamara, performed by Isabelle, is every slasher geek's wet dream come true. Believe me, every geek - even the one who's not quite interested in busty scream queens. A year ago, while praising Katie's performance in 'American Mary', I called myself her slave. I still am.
