I liked it as well, but I have a soft spot for slasher flicks (and Katharine Isabelle and Danielle Harris) so even if SNE 2 will never be considered of any importance to the horror genre I enjoyed it a lot more than I probably should.
I thought it had a strangely melancholy feel to it that got stronger as the movie went on and the characters were killed off. "They're all dead" says Amy towards the end, and when we arrive at the final scene, showing the ultmate fate of everyone, it's all become very quiet and sad. Just like it always is when the after-party dies down after midnight, heh.
