Frankly it feels like every lame Hallmark movie for the last decade. Just with Asian People. Also how many monarchy are there in Asia in the first place. The only one i can think of is Japan.

The guy’s a monarch? I thought he was just rich. Ridiculous! Sounds like the Asian version of Coming to America.

Well there some line about being "Being the Prince Harry of Asia" in the Trailer. After rewatching the trailer im not sure hes a monarch. Still it looks super stupid and lame.

Yes, she was making a comparison that he's an eligible bachelor of the same level as Prince Harry. She wasn't implying that he was actually a prince. His family is rich beyond comparison, and he is definitely sought after.

Not a monarch, but he is from the richest family in Singapore. The film is nothing like Coming to America.

The plot definitely isn't anything new, but the movie is hilarious! The cast does a great job. It was fun to watch.

Plus, there is Coldplay.

Asian-Americans (2nd gen.) are the real White People. It's like all the caricatures of "white Americans" that Eddie Murphy and Chapelle, etc imitate... which are really only some few wealthy white people from 50 years ago. Well, that's what the "Asian-Americans" have become.
