Why could they just remove Wallace from that walrus suit. Yes he was mutilated with his arms fused to his torso and legs cut off but I’m sure he could have been surgically removed from the walrus suit...

Did you hear the bit at the end with the credits of Kevin and Scott talking? Was actually funnier than the scene. :)

I think the idea was that it had affected him too much mentally to go back physically, like they said, that he had gone "full walrus". But I was confused by that. It had only been a few days, right?

So while I think that's supposed to be the answer, I had the same question as you. They could have removed the suit and that would've helped bring him back mentally.
