I agree about the ending, but the development of the guy's relationships with the girls from movie 1 was worthwhile enough alone. The very first 10 minutes were the highlight - such a good note to set the tone that I had a very big grin for a long time. Well, until the rather desperate desert scene which had to feature just a bit too much nudity for my liking. Overall I think it rates a 6 and was above average as sequels go.
shareWell-written review Emma but our opinions are pretty different! We flag up the same negatives but I don't think I was as forgiving. If this is the final inbetweeners project then that ending is super disappointing.

You've really hit the nail on the head, I was very forgiving. I actually thought it was just me who didn't really like the movie (and I hate giving bad reviews generally, I think there's something in most films for everyone and you just have to think about target audience and entertainment value).
Having said that, everyone seemed to love the film so much I really did just think it was me. I've read your review also and totally agree with you!
The film was very crass, I felt Simon acted as though he didn't even want to be IN it and it was completely pointless.
My favourite bit was Will's outburst at the posh kids!
