Why are British Movies obsessed with Full frontal Male Nudity ?

Seen a lot of British movies over the last 10-15 years.

They seem to be rampant with male full frontal nudity and some times numerous times in a single movie or a TV Series.Surprisingly female nudity is limited to topless or back side shots!

Quite different from Hollywood or even other European Movies. French always have a good mix of both sexes as do the Scandinavian ones. Italian and Spanish are more like Hollywood with female nudity favored.

It seems the British and England seem to enjoy and want male nudity a whole lot more than others for reasons best known to them. It's also not surprising that a whole lot of British Male actors are ready to drop their trousers;in fact there must be only a few actors who haven't done it at least once in a movie.

Why do American TV shows like Breaking Bad allow grisly killings but no strong swearing?

That's what I'd like to know.

But I know what you mean, I don't know why British films do this. The British public isn't fussed about male or female nudity the same way the American public is. A lot of TV programmes in the UK have partial male nudity, or flashing of bare buttocks. I think it's become a bit of a cliché, I'm sure Monty Python has even done it.

Not that I'm for killings and violence, but the main reason? It's because it's fake - nobody is really getting hurt, and nobody is really dying.

Because it's not a taboo in the UK. The US has an assinine and harsh stance on nudity, but has no qualms with violence and gore. Surprise surprise.

I don't remember seeing any penii (rudimentary nor otherwise) in this film, though I WAS bored and looking at my iPhone a lot of the time.

Looking at your phone during a movie....you might not have seen any penii but I bet everyone around you did.

I think it's because a lot of the film-makers are gay or lesbian feminists.
