Very funny, but very redundant.

The film had a lot of laugh out loud moments, more of them than misfires definitely. It also had the heart of the show and the style was keep better than the first. Although I couldn't help feeling how unnecessary it was. The first movie wasn't as funny but it was a better movie because it was more entertaining and memorable. Not to mention it had a satisfying and happy conclusion. This kind of reversed it though in the end and it felt more inconclusive. I didn't get the air of finality that I did with the first. Although I really enjoyed this, I feel that the first was the proper end. 7/10. Also The fact that Gilbert was dating Will's Mum was very predicable although funny, I wish it didn't seem so obvious

Redundant Yes. Funny, no way! Major disappointment for me :(

I agree with that, definitely. It's a shame.

I understand mate, it had a bit of a sad ending with joe not getting jane. But its still better than almost all american comedies in last 10 years. Mediocre british comedies like this are better than high rated american comedies like trainwreck etc.
