The offender said he needed the boy for "the treatment"? What was that going to be? What was he going to do to the boy?

From what I got from it, "the treatment" was to cure his impotency. Claeren, the pedophile, would make the father, of whom the family's house he broke in to, have sex with the child while he watched and tried to, well...not be impotent, as we saw in the 10 minutes. That sentence was even difficult to write. He just needed the boy for that purpose. Why he ends up taking the boys, Robin...the first boy we see taken and ultimately died in the tree, and then Joff at the end, I'm not sure. I guess he wasn't thinking what he would do with them. It seems both times he was interrupted and he just takes off with the kid. We never get to see what he would have done with them since Robin died and Joff was saved. Hopefully this helps. And hopefully I'm on the right track!
