I had only invested about 80 minute of time in the project, not 5 years.

Yeah I teared up for a second there. It was a brilliant documentary that made you emotionally invested in the character it portrays and thus it felt natural to feel the same relief, happiness that he felt when he had completed his challenge. Great documentaries will do that to you. This one was stellar.
