Good film but have in mind
Hi,
saw this film last night (18.11.15) and it was a well made film.
It is hard to watch it if you have seen "The armstrong lie" and "Stop at Nothing: The Lance Armstrong Story" and not think" why isn't this here, why did they leave this out, there is so much more to the story and so on.
Maybe at the start the film felt a bit rushed but it was very straight to the point and setting the characters. It was pretty shocking to she Lance when he was ill with the cancer. Very good insight on how normal it was for doping and blood bags to be everywhere. You could feel the characters caught up in the system/grinder.
Ben Foster played Lance very well. In the reenactments he was spot on.
The camera work was well played out - when Lance was confused and in the corner; When Floyd had the realization and the beam of light struck the camera; some very nice details.
Probably the thing that really hurt my was that hollowtech BB on the bike he was riding with Ferrari :D
