Nobody has cared about Cycling since...Lance Armstrong was found guilty of cheating
The sentence should be "Nobody has cared about Cycling (IN MY COUNTRY) since...Lance Armstrong was found guilty of cheating"
Hello, the U.S.A. is not "everybody", welcome to reality.
Maybe in the USA professional cycling was only popular when Lance Armstrong was winning championships (but he was cheating, so it doesn't count) and is not popular anymore. But saying not being popular in the USA is not being popular for anyone is so ignorant, egocentric and absurd!
Professional Cycling is a really popular sport specially in Europe and South America (yes, the USA is not the whole America), it is followed by billions of people/TV viewers every summer (when the championships season takes place), it is followed by three-quarters of the planet earth by TV successfully (UK, Brazil, Spain & Japan specially). It has been popular before, during and after Lance Armstrong. Just take a look of the reception of the recent winner of the Vuelta in his country: Colombia:
